Farewell my family, don't weep
for I am at peace now, I am just asleep
Farewell my family, I am not alone.
the Lord our God has led me safely home.

Think about the many years, holding back the tears
Yet God somehow, always made a way.
And we thank Him every night for another day.

Be good my family always have each other.
Be thoughtful loved ones
Be strong my family, strong in heart,
The blood ties, no one can ever part.

Farewell my family, life's been called away,
Walk with God, trust in him each day.
